codeblocks compiler doesnt show anything

Didn't want to get rid of my original folder in case the static build didn't work. I am wondering if anybody on the forum uses codeblocks and can help me with the static build?įor now I have still have my original compiled folder and I have one called static too. I am pretty sure I have to add different libraries for the static build I know the settings in codeblocks need to be changed,but I am not sure what is needed.

However now I am having trouble compiling. So this time I thought I would try and build it so that it is static and so I unticked wxBuild_Shared, and followed the rest of the video. So originally in the build I ticked the wxBuild_Shared. I used the Cmake GUI in windows, to compile. Unfortunately the video only showed how to compile wxWidgets dynamically, although it is one of the best tutorials out there. So now my program is nearly complete, I was wondering about linking wxWidgets statically so I don't need the extra dlls in my program folder. So I used this video to install and compile wxWidgets for codeblocks a couple of weeks ago
